They play the second of two sold out shows here. Both Roundhouse shows sold out a month before. JANE'S ADDICTION Announce Their First UK And European Headline Tour In Eight Years. Formed back in 1985, JANE'S ADDICTION are a world renowned, much loved, hugely ahead of their time classic American rock band from Los Angeles, consisting of vocalist Perry Farrell, guitarist Dave Navarro, drummer Stephen Perkins and bassist Eric Avery. Founded by Farrell and Avery, following the disintegration of Farrell's previous band PSi Com, Jane's Addiction's first release was the stunning, self-titled live album 'Janes Addiction' (1987). I have seen them twice before. --------- The Guardian and NME both gave their Monday show five stars , even though it was just 75 mins on stage. My security chums telling me how COURTNEY LOVE was causing havoc in the photo pit on Monday. Looking forward to seeing this show in the same way i was looking forward to The Black Crowes recently. JANES ADDICTION play two more songs tonight compared to Monday , so it was 87 mins on stage. Perry Farrell and Dave Navarro look like proper rock stars . Perry Farrell is swigging wine from a bottle between many songs ,but there is too much waffling chat from him on stage Good to hear some songs, but others were pretty average. Fan-favourites including ‘Mountain Song’, ‘Ain’t No Right’ and ‘Been Caught Stealing’ were very good , and they seem to have a new lease of life. Dave Navarro take every chance he gets to showcase a dizzying number of electrifying licks, Like Monday , there was no encore. Overall it was a good show, but I expected better. Full JANES ADDICTION setlist played tonight... Kettle Whistle Whores Pigs in Zen Been Caught Stealing Ain't No Right Summertime Rolls Imminent Redemption Ted, Just Admit It...
