27 Sept 2011.I went to two good events tonight.First was 6.45pm to 9pm for the launch of
Lowndes Bar & Kitchen,Jumeirah Lowndes Hotel,21 Lowndes Street, Belgravia,London SW1.Offering a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere, Lowndes Bar & Kitchen offers excellent all day dining with a Modern British menu.
Relax in snug areas with morning coffee and pastries whilst reading a complimentary newspaper or dine more formally at tables inside or outside.
The heated terrace is ideal for al fresco entertaining!
Head Chef, Martin Gabler has created a menu perfect for any time of day. Diners can choose to enjoy morning favourites including eggs benedict and omelettes or enjoy the signature Lowndes mango chicken salad for a quick lunch.A selection of sweet treats and afternoon teas are available throughout the afternoon, ideal for a break from shopping in Belgravia or Knightsbridge, whilst sharing platters and cocktails make the perfect start to any evening.Complimentary drinks and canapes tonight for all.Then
9.30pm to 11pm i was at the afterparty for the play The Playboy Of The Western World at The Old Vic,London SE1.
Around 500 people at the party which was held a few mins from the venue at Baltic,74 Blackfriars Road,London SE1.
Lots of freebie cocktails and quality wines for all.
Lots of lovely food as well.BBC presenter Andrew Marr was here.Sadly Old Vic Artistic Director Kevin Spacey was in Spain so could not be here.A nice party.
