This plush old school members club is just a few yards away from the original Hard Rock Cafe. Great paintings and furniture all over the building. Men have to wear a jacket and tie here. Around 100 older posh guests here. RICHARD STILGOE is here...now aged 81. FELIX FRANCIS (age 71) releases his 18th book. He makes a speech at 7.15pm and signs books. Raye plays a special ballot only show for customers of 02 Priority. I saw Raye play sold out shows at Shepherds Bush Empire Nov 2021 and Royal Albert Hall Sept 2023. BRIT AWARDS 2024 belonged to RAYE, who, after already breaking the record for most BRIT Award nominations for a single artist in one year, received six prestigious awards, among them Album of the Year, Artist of the Year, Best New Artist, Song of the Year for “Escapism,” R&B Act and Songwriter of the Year. ----------- Level 1 is all for the 200 folks on the guest list . Guests included .... PALOMA FAITH JESSIE J ALEX SCOTT CLARA AMFO MAISIE WILLIAMS NCUTI GATWA ( the current Dr Who) RAYE arrived on stage at 8.50pm for her 80 mins set A lovely all white stage , with platforms for her nine musicians, who included a four man brass section. All musicians dressed in white shirts with bow ties . Raye is wearing a glamorous, red sparkly dress. Lots of excitable chat from Raye between and during the songs .She easily mixes Hollywood glamour and South London street girl. Highlights included a superb cover of 'Its A Mans Mans World' and the finale of her massive hit ' 'Escapism ' . A really good show .
