WHITE YARDIE live at Shepherds Bush Empire.
White Yardie presents Straight Outta Jamaica 2.
Harry Gregory, better known by his stage name White Yardie, is a WHITE British and Jamaican comedian, actor and social media personality. Born in the United Kingdom, he was raised in Jamaica.
He has been a stand up comedian for 11 years.
I have seen him a couple of times on a supporting bill , but now he has started to headline shows.
-------
Level 3 is closed tonight, and it's stalls seating, so maybe 600 tickets sold....pretty much a 75% black audience.
The DJ did a good job of playing the right tracks either side of the acts, to get the audience to sing loudly along to .
SMASH ENTERTAINZ arrived on stage at 8.15pm for his 20 mins set....some funny routines that went down well.
WHITE YARDIE arrived on stage at 9.15pm for his 80 mins set.
A white guy with a full Jamaican delivery , to a mainly black audience, certainly has a novelty aspect about it, but he had plenty of funny routines that got the crowd laughing.

THE CHAMELEONS live at Shepherds Bush Empire.
Formed in Greater Manchester in 1981 by singer and bassist Mark Burgess, Chameleons have remained one of the city’s most revered bands among musos ever since their inception. With notable fans including the likes of Noel Gallagher to Interpol, The Charlatans to Moby, their music has been passed down through the generations like an elixir of eternal inspiration.
With support from THE MEMBRANES and VISION VIDEO.
I have seen Chameleons and Membranes just once before.
The Chameleons have just played a North American tour.
This is show number two on their seven date UK tour.
-------------
Levels 2 and 3 are closed but stalls and Level 1 look full.
Mainly middle aged folks, but there are many younger fans.
Comedian STUART LEE was in the Level 1 VIP seats.
VISION VIDEO arrived on stage at 7.15pm for their 30 mins.
The band are from Athens , Georgia , USA.
They played a good set of goth post punk tunes.
The singer is ex USA military and was keen to rant against worldwide governments.
They played a great cover of Joy Divisions ' Transmission'.
They went down well with the crowd.
MEMBRANES arrived on stage at 8.05pm for their 45 mins set.
John Robb is on vocals, and plays some lovely Peter Hook type high up the fretboard bass .
John writes for and runs the Louder Than War website and a monthly music magazine of the same name. He has written several books on music and occasionally makes media appearances as a music commentator.
CHAMELEONS arrived on stage at 9.20pm for their 1 hour 40 mins set.
Known for their atmospheric, guitar-based sound, the Chameleons are regarded as one of the most underrated Manchester bands of the 1980s.They did not attain the commercial success of other groups from the Manchester scene but developed a cult following.
They were one of John Peels favourite bands.
Non stop guitar based tracks were all good.
The encores got the crowd dancing lots.
