Thursday 06 February 2025....i went to two events tonight... 5.15pm to 9pm. ALL BAR ONE - relaunch party - Leicester Square, London WC2. This popular bar has a superb location , as it's on Leicester Square itself, next to the McDonalds and opposite the main cinema that hosts the film premieres. We arrived at the entrance and there are two showgirls in wings and feathers strutting their stuff, and a female fire eater too. Inside it is lively and buzzy as must be 200 or 300 guests here over the two floors. A DJ is playing some tracks downstairs. There is cocktail making classes every 30 mins upstairs . Lots of food and drinks including four different cocktails, Monkey Shoulder Whiskey & Ginger , Prosecco , Wines, Beers , Guinness , Burgers , Bowl Food and canapes and desserts including Strawberry cheesecake. All guests got a tote bag with a few items in on departure. We had plenty of drinks and food here as much better than expected , but another event was calling nearby. then 9.15pm to 11.30pm . SOPHIES STEAKHOUSE - 42/44 Great Windmill Street , Soho, London W1. This was the after-party for the press/VIP night of 'The Years ' at The Harold Pinter Theatre in Panton Street. A massive crowd as must be 300 or 400 guests here. All the cast turn up for the photographers. Actor MARK STRONG is here. Lots of complimentary drinks and food including any spirit n mixer, prosecco, wines , beers , bowl food and canapes. ----------------------------------------------- ----------------------------------------------- Wednesday 05 February 2025. OMAR RUDBERG live at Shepherds Bush Empire. Stockholm-based and Venezuelan-born artist, actor and dancer Omar Rudberg (now aged 26 ) lets his attitude, confidence and spirit surge through his artistry at full blast, tailoring his Latin-infused, arena-ready pop for crowd singalongs in the process. Before launching his solo career in 2018, he gained recognition and began his professional music career in 2013 as a member of the Swedish boy band FO&O. He is best known internationally for his starring role as Simon Eriksson in the Netflix series Young Royals (2021–2024). --------------- Level 3 is closed , and Level 2 is half empty . Still over a 1000 folks here , with 90% females under 30. SAY NOW arrived on stage at 8pm for their 25 mins set. A girl trio in the vein of Sugababes / All Saints. They have had a few singles out on Atlantic Records. Their set included a Britney Spears medley. OMAR RUDBERG arrived on stage at 9pm for his 65 mins set . He has a band and two male dancers ,all in shiny tops , like Omar himself....Omar joins in with the dance routines Lots of screaming from the excitable female crowd. His set ticked along ok and included a cover of Rihanna 'Rude Boy'. For the final two songs he was shirtless much to the delight of his girl fans.
