Former Formula 1 team owner and broadcaster EDDIE JORDAN dies aged 76.
Jordan revealed in December he had been diagnosed with an "aggressive" form of cancer earlier in 2024. He ran his own F1 team between 1991 and 2005 before moving to a broadcast role, working for the BBC and Channel 4.
He certainly lived a full life .
I saw him three times with his all star band in 2002, 2004, 2010.

A few thousand folks each day of food and drink professionals expected to experience the latest product innovations, inspiring talks, and unforgettable networking opportunities.

Hundreds of stands here from UK and overseas food and drinks companies showcasing their products .
Lots of tastings on many of the stands, and easy to get a couple of bags of swag to take away .
A big mention of ADD OLIVES from Harlesden, London who gave me a huge bag of mixed olives . ..at least 200 i reckon.
then...
6pm to 9pm .

These two restaurants are on the first floor here above the Fortnum & Mason restaurant and bar .
One is Pan Asian and the other is Bavarian .
Good to put down the heavy Excel bags for a few hours .
Nice to be seated , after all the standing at Excel.
Around 50 guests here.

Friends said Mick Jones turned up at the private view opening night on 28 Feb , but I was committed to the Lenny Kravitz gig at Wembley Arena that night.
