Upmarket Travel and Fashion Magazine are hosting a party in this cool fashion store , for the cool fashion folks. They have a nice garden space out the back. Complimentary Gin n Tonics and prosecco for guests. Everyone got a copy of the magazine , that retails for £12. ----------------------------------- ----------------------------------- Tuesday 29 April 2025...i went to two events tonight... 5.15pm to 8.30pm BANKSIDE HOTEL - terrace bar launch party - Upper Ground,London SE1. My first time at this cool five star hotel. There is lots of contemporary art around the hotel. Complimentary gin cocktails, Aperol Spritz , wines, beers , canapes and desserts . All guests got a goodie bag with a few items in , including a jar of honey from their own bee hives on the roof of the hotel. then ..... 9.15pm to 11pm. MY MASTER BUILDER - opening press night party - St Martins Lane Hotel , London WC2. A big crowd of around 300 guests for this play starring Ewan McGregor , that's on at the nearby Wyndham's Theatre until 12 July 2025. The creatives were in the very lively Speakeasy Bar . Ewan McGregor was with another older Scottish male actor . Also here were Minnie Driver, Charley Boorman and James Norton. Complimentary Margaritas cocktails, wines , beers , cheeseburgers and canapes The party was still lively at 11pm when we departed , but there is only so much food and drinks you can take in one evening. ------------------------------------ ------------------------------------ Tuesday 29 April 2025. Very sad news that Welsh music legend MIKE PETERS has lost his battle with blood cancer , aged 66. I saw The Alarm and Mike solo many times over the past 40 years, along with some Dead Men Walking shows. I saw him play just a few months ago supporting Big Country at Shepherds Bush Empire. He was always so passionate on stage. He will be missed big time.
