Thursday 29 May 2925. ALEXANDRA KAY live at Shepherds Bush Empire. American country music artist Alexandra Kay released her Debut Album titled All I’ve Ever Known Oct 26, 2023, as well as announced another major headline tour, All I’ve Ever Known The Tour: Chapter Two. Tonight is the last show on her 21 date UK and European Tour. --------- Level 3 is half empty , but otherwise the venue is pretty full. At least 75% are females. British females love country music , and many are wearing cowboy hats and cowboy boots etc. CHANEL YATES arrived on stage at 8pm for her 35 mins. A country singer , who played some songs on acoustic guitar , and some some songs to backing tape. She did a nifty country cover of 'Umbrella'. ALEXANDRA KAY arrived on stage at 9pm for her 80 mins. Alexandra Kay is now aged 33. She has a three piece band , and a good production of lights. The Waterloo Illinois native started writing songs at the age of 15. AK has a dedicated fan base of 8+ million across social media like Tik Tok, and is signed to BMG Nashville. She said " I am over the moon to be played this iconic venue , which is my biggest show ever outside the USA". The songs all have a nice catchy country pop rock feel to them and Alexandra has plenty of smiley chatty stage banter. CATALONIA - showcase - The Westworks, 195 Wood Lane, Shepherds Bush , London W12. This newish area was where The White City stadium was. At 6pm we were seated for a full hour presentation on Catalonia , with different speakers and graphics on the big screen. Mainly focused on promoting of their creative industries like TV and film production and AI. Also the Sonar Electronic Music Festival. The BBC were also here , and they were showcasing their Live Immersive Concerts . Complimentary Cava , soft drinks and Spanish canapes before and after the presentation. then 8.20pm to 11.30pm . Birthday drinks at Wetherspoons, Hammersmith. Seven of us here to celebrate my birthday (27 May) and a friend's (26 May).
