Saturday 31 May 2025. HARRY HILL live at Shepherds Bush Empire Harry Hill (now aged 60), is an English comedian, presenter and writer. He pursued a career in stand-up following years working as a medical doctor, developing an off-beat, energetic performance style that fused elements of surrealism, observational comedy, slapstick, satire and music. When performing, he usually wears browline glasses and a dress shirt with a distinctive oversized collar and cuffs. Part of his UK tour. I saw him perform at this venue in 2022. --------- It is a stalls seated sold out show tonight . HARRY HILL arrived on stage at 7.30 pm and played for 1 hour 40 mins , over two sets of 50 mins. The big collared one arrives on stage in oversize trainers. He is squirting late comers with water . Those down the front are the audience participation members, which was very entertaining.. Men with bald heads were picked on. Plenty of Harry and his wacky dance moves . There are various props and some ventriloquism. A huge inflatable sausage was thrown into the audience at the end , as all of Harry's helpers have a dance in their costumes . Harry Hill is as joyful and daft as ever. --------------------------------- --------------------------------- Friday 30 May 2025...6.30pm to 9.30pm... HARRY'S - press preview - 3 Kings Boulevard , Kings Cross , London N1. This area has had a complete re-generation. Harry's King's Cross opens to the public on June 3, 2025. The new restaurant is an addition to the Harry's family, known for its blend of timeless Italian charm and contemporary elegance. It is located in the heart of King's Cross, offering a modern twist on Italy's glamorous 1950s style and a taste of "la dolce vita". Bookings are now open, and the restaurant promises all-day dining, a large terrace, and Venetian-inspired interiors. Pictures of legends like Sophia Loren adorn the walls. We choose a covered table outside on the terrace. Lots of lovely complimentary food and a couple of bottles of water ( no alcohol for the preview) , with the staff making a typical lovely Italian hospitality fuss of everybody. My food ... Starters....Truffle Arancini and Spicy Prawns with Flatbread. Mac n Cheese that we shared . Mains...Steak with chips and sides . Dessert....Tiramisu .
