Thursday 10 July 2025...I went to two events tonight... 6pm to 7.40pm. Private View - Flannels , 161-167 Oxford Street ,London W1. W1 Curates presents "Rooted Data" by Annibale Siconolfi . Annibale Siconolfi presents a selection of recent works alongside key pieces that have marked significant stages in his artistic journey. We are in the basement of this clothes store. Nice and cool , away from the scorching heat outside. It is a digital art space, similar to Outernet. PHILIP SALLON was here. There is a DJ playing instrumental dance beats . Complimentary spirits with mixers, wines and beers so i had a few JD & cokes here . then 7.50pm to 9.30pm. CORK STREET 100th ANNIVERSARY PARTY - Cork Street, Mayfair , London W1. Cork Street, a London art destination, is celebrating its 100th anniversary in 2025 with a year-long program of exhibitions and events. The celebration includes a group exhibition called "Fear Gives Wings to Courage" spread across all 15 galleries on the street, and special commissions like the Cork Street Banners Commission. The Mayor Gallery, the first gallery to open on Cork Street, is also celebrating its centenary in its new location. Cork Street is all closed off to cars, so there must be 300 or 400 guests in the street and in the galleries Complimentary drinks from two bars in the street , included vodka cocktails , prosecco, wines and beers. There is a DJ playing tracks.
