Monday 14 July 2025...7pm to 9.15pm... MARIE CURIE - private view of the summer exhibition 2025 at The Royal Academy of Arts , Piccadilly, W1. What Marie Curie do - Everyone deserves the right support at the end of life. We’re here for anyone with an illness they’re likely to die from, and their family and friends. The event is a fundraiser for them. A steel band are welcoming us in the courtyard. Over 500 mainly older guests here, including VANESSA FELTZ , MOIRA STEWART and MICHAEL PORTILLO. At 8pm we have the auctioneer for several items , then there was also a silent auction. Complimentary Leyton's champers , canapes and desserts for all the guests . ------------------------------------ ------------------------------------ Saturday 12 July 2025. 6pm to 1am. On the 40th anniversary weekend of Live Aid BBC2 is showing seven hours of highlights from that amazing day in 1985. The actual event was 11 hours long. Live Aid is my number one gig I have been to , out of the 7800 gigs I have been to since 1973. An incredible line-up with many still performing. Sadly a few of them have passed away.
