Friday 01 August 2025. No real surprise about this. Oasis fans have set a new record at Wembley Stadium by drinking more than a quarter of a million pints per night. The new figures were shared by Delaware North, the company which operates the catering at Wembley Stadium. According to The Times, fans at the recent Oasis shows have been significantly out drinking those at other huge concerts at the iconic venue. Despite the high prices , many of those on the pitch will always be throwing their beer in the air when Oasis are on stage. ------------------------------------- ------------------------------------- Thursday 31 July 2025. 6pm. I had a wander along to Carnaby Street to have a look at the OASIS merch pop up store .....must have been around 100 outside in the queue , with a one out one in situation. Oasis merch doing massive business . then 6.30pm to 8.30pm... DAN LANE - private view - Castle Fine Art , 57 South Molton Street , Mayfair London W1. The gallery celebrates Dan’s decade-long collaboration with Castle Fine Art. They are proud to exhibit this new body of work (Take Me Beck to Eden), which stands a testament to 10 years of partnership. The new collection is a culmination of years of dedication and stylistic innovation, signifying a powerful shift in the artist’s direction. We are in the basement area of the gallery. Around 70 or 80 guests are here. Lots of his art and sculptures involves skulls . A bit of street art and slogans too ...it all looks great... Complimentary prosecco , wines and beers for all guests. Also worth looking at is on the ground floor ,where they have seven paintings by Bob Dylan and three from Johnny Depp from previous exhibitions here.
