Thursday 14 August 2025. ALLEY CATS - launch party - 84 Westbourne Grove , London W2. New York style pizza chain Alley Cats opens a third restaurant in Westbourne Grove. To celebrate the opening, Head Chef Francesco Macri has added some Americana-inspired dishes, including a spicy maple BBQ chicken pizza, a new take on the Caesar Salad, and a fried pizza dough stuffed with spinach and cheese. Returning items include the vodka sauce pizza and their pepperoni with jalapeños and hot honey. The drinks menu has been expanded to feature cocktails, including The Dark Alley, a coffee-infused Negroni; Bloom Spritz, a bergamot and elderflower spritz; and The Cat’s Classics, which is the house’s take on Negroni. ------------ We get a nice table downstairs , which is a bit cooler. They are showing classic gangster film clips on the big screen. We share four starters. Then it was a 14" inch Pulled Pork and Pineapple Pizza to share. Then some very nice ice cream with black cherries. We had five cocktails each One was a frozen Mango and Bourbon , that they called a SLUSH PUSSIE . One year today THE SEX PISTOLS with Frank Carter played the first of three great shows at Bush Hall . I was at all three of them. It was their debut shows with Frank Carter. Channel One are regulars at Notting Hill Carnival. THE CONDUIT - showcase - 6 Langley Street, Covent Garden, London WC2. Around 50 guests in their 5th floor rooftop terrace bar area. This members club has been here for four years , and have over 2000 members. At 6.15pm we get a 20 mins tour of all the floors. They host over 150 various events throughout the year.
