THOSE DAMN CROWS live at Shepherds Bush Empire.
Welsh rockers are touring their fourth studio album 'God Shaped Hole', which charted at number one. It was the first chart topper for Earache Records.
--------------
Level 3 is half empty , but the other levels look very full.
A nice trio of rock acts tonight.
There are a few Welsh flags dotted around the venue .
JAMES BRUNER and his band on at 7.30pm for their 30 mins set.
Illinois born; Nashville based singer-songwriter James Bruner has released his new single “Switchblade” before playing 21 dates across the EU and UK throughout October and November with Those Damn Crows.
He strutted around the stage non stop , as he gave it 100%.
A really good set.
AUTUMN KINGS on at 8.15pm for their 30 mins set.
Autumn Kings is a Canadian rock band formed in LaSalle, Ontario, in 2015, who have since relocated to Detroit, Michigan, United States. They started as an independent band but signed with label Hopeless Records in August 2024.Their inspiration for their music stems from Linkin Park and Metallica.
They played a good set of crunchin' riffs, including a cover of Linkin Parks ' Bleed It Out'.
THOSE DAMN CROWS on stage at 9.25pm for their 90 mins set.
A nice production with lots of lights , strobes and a huge curtain behind them.
Pretty great how this five piece have done so well , as with all the female and male singer - songwriters dominating the charts it seems harder than ever for a full on rock band to break through.
There was a young kid with his mum in Level 1 balcony in full Halloween outfit dancing madly away , he looked like a ventriloquist dummy. The singer in the band gave him a shout out , and made sure he got a setlist and drumstick at the end of the show.
They opened with rockin' gem ' Dancing With The Enemy ' and closed with 'a great 'See You Again'.
Plenty of good tracks inbetween.
After 70 mins the singer sang from the Level 1 balcony.
Three enjoyable rock acts tonight.
