Wednesday 19 November 2025. THE FRAY live at Shepherds Bush Empire. This is their second of two sold out shows at this venue. The Fray are massive back home in the USA Multi-Platinum band The Fray embark on a highly anticipated global tour to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their groundbreaking debut album, ' How to Save a Life' . Released in 2005, '' How to Save a Life'' became a defining album of the 2000s, producing chart-topping singles like “Over My Head (Cable Car)” and the 5 x Platinum title track. Those two singles also made the UK Top 10. Their other three albums all made the Top 10 in the USA. Their first two albums made the Top 10 in the UK. Their original singer left the band in 2022. ------------ The venue is rammed solid sold out tonight. ST. LUNDI arrived on stage at 8pm for his 30 mins set. Just him with his acoustic guitar and keyboards. A decent set of his debut album tracks that went down well. He plays a headline show at Bush Hall in Feb 2026. THE FRAY arrived on stage at 9pm for their 95 mins set. The main three band members are joined by two other musicians. They had some nice Vox and Fender amps on stage. The guitarist has pedal box with 16 pedals in it , even though they only have 18 songs in the setlist . Their songs are keyboard led so have hints of Coldplay and Keane. New singer Joe King used to be the guitarist in the band, but has now taken over the lead vocals. A nice middle section where they played their two early hits , and then the next song the singer sang it in the stalls standing area with the fans . A good show. Christmas tree and lights launch party , London W1. Always nice to be at this luxurious venue . The main Christmas tree and the smaller ones look amazing all lit up. Around 150 guests here. At 6.45pm there is a speech from the owners. A wandering quartet are playing Christmas classics and Rat Pack classics. Complimentary Laurent Perrier Champers, Classic Negronis , Spiced Negronis , mini cheeseburgers, cartons of truffled fries , canapes and desserts . A very nice event.
