Friday 21 November 2025.

Friday 21 November 2025. CAST live at Shepherds Bush Empire . Cast will be touring the UK and Ireland to celebrate the 30th anniversary of their debut album, "All Change". Cast had seven Top 10 hit singles in the UK. Richard Ashcroft and Cast were the support acts on the massive UK Oasis reunion stadium shows in the UK this summer . I have seen Cast a few times before, with the first time at Battersea Power Station in 1997. ------------- A sold out drinking crowd of mainly middle aged folks tonight. PASTEL arrived on stage at 7.40pm for their 30 mins set . A newish band , but they look and sound like a 1990s band. A good set. CAST arrived on stage at 8.45pm for their 1 hour 50 mins set. The first part of the set is the ' All Change ' album. Singer John Power, still has that great Liverpudlian singing voice and banter. Several classic hits like 'Sandstorm' , ' Fine Time' , ' Walkaway ' and 'Alright' are highlights. A newer track ' Free Love' was excellent. As good enjoyable show. Full setlist played by CAST tonight... HARRY'S - launch party - 11/12 Russell Street , Covent Garden , London WC2. Having rolled out The Ivy to pretty much everywhere (the latest of those in Battersea), it looks like Richard Caring's Caprice Holdings has started focusing on Harry's as their next big brand. They opened in Victoria last year and in King's Cross earlier this summer. All that was building up to what's going to be the restaurant group's flagship site, which gets its big launch this winter in Covent Garden. The site they've nabbed is where Tuttons stood for nearly 40 years. It's right on the corner of the piazza beside the London Transport Museum. As such, it's got a massive terrace which will do very nicely for them in the summer months. If you haven't been to one of them before, then they channel a kind of 1950s Italian energy, serving up dishes like their popular truffled tagliolini and the much-photographed Harry's toadstool dessert. Open seven days a week, join us from breakfast to pre-theatre dining or for an after-show dinner and savour the very best of Harry's alongside classic cocktails with a signature twist. And for the perfect evening, discover Il Palco, a new concept space with live music from Thursday to Saturday. ---------------- A great location on the edge of Covent Garden Piazza . Must be over 200 guests here over the two levels . Lots of smartly dressed staff fussing over the guests. Nice to see several friends here . There is a female singer and band downstairs , then later a DJ. Lots of very nice complimentary food and drinks, including Prosecco , Bellinis, Negronis, Aperol Spritz , wines , beers and several delicious canapes and desserts .
