Wednesday 26 November 2025. Shock news that fashionista PAM HOGG has passed away aged 66. I saw her at many West End events, and she was always friendly and chatty. Last time I saw her was when she was DJ support to CYNDI LAUPER just a year ago at The Royal Albert Hall. Pam was the maverick Scottish designer who dressed everyone from Kate Moss and Beyonce to Debbie Harry and Princess Eugenie. ----------- Wednesday 26 November 2025....5pm to 10pm... Christmas reunion drinks with some ex work colleagues . Last night was the glamour of a celebrity filled party at Claridges , and tonight it is The Wetherspoons in Wimbledon. Around 20 of us here , reminiscing about the good old days and other stuff. Ray Fielding was there ( Noel Fieldings dad). We are all now retired , apart from one who is still full time. Really great to see them all again for a catch up. -------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------- Tuesday 25 November 2025...6.45pm to 10pm... CLARIDGES - Christmas Tree 2025 - unveiling party , Mayfair , London W1. This year's Claridge’s Christmas Tree 2025, is designed by Daniel Lee, Chief Creative Officer of Burberry. Standing proudly in the Art Deco lobby, the traditional 16ft tree brings together two illustrious British names in a celebration of craft, heritage and festive wonder. This event used to be upstairs in the space above the tree for 150 guests , but it always felt a very crowded space , so this year they have moved it to a bigger space in the dinning room near the tree for around 300 guests . It was a very glam event at this famous five star hotel... Lots of well known faces here along with male and female models and other creatives. Dame Joan Collins , Richard E Grant , Jennifer Saunders , Erin O'Connor , Sophie Dahl , Alexa Chung, Pixie Geldof, Nicky Haslam, Jeremy King, Harris Reed , Daniel Lismore , Pink Pantheress , Mutya Buena ,Patsy Kensit, Celia Imrie, Hannah Waddingham , Georgia May Jagger , Suzy Menkes , Jessie Ware , Leah Williamson ( Arsenal and England National Team footballer),Ncuti Gatwa ( Dr Who 2023 to 2025 ) . Early on we had a choir singing Christmas Carols. At 8pm Daniel Lee from Burberry gave a welcome speech , which was followed by a reading by Olivia Colman . A DJ was playing tunes in the background . Lots of very nice complimentary drinks and food , including Billecart-Salmon champers, three different cocktails including Negronis , wines, canapes and a desserts table.
