Friday 06 February 2026. Congratulations to top notch young new band THE MOLOTOVS. Their debut album has gone straight in at number 3 in the UK charts. I saw them play a great gig at The 100 Club just a few days ago . ----------------- ----------------- Thursday 05 February 2026....6.30pm to 8.45pm... PRESTIGE EVENTS MAGAZINE 23rd birthday at Kerb Social Club, Spitalfields Market , London E1. Around 100 guests are here. With big screens, buzzing bar energy, darts, karaoke, five private rooms and food that’s worth cheering for. Later on there is some dodgy sounding karaoke by some female guests. We ended up leaving an hour before it was due to finish. Complimentary prosecco, wines, beers and a buffet of southern fried food. They promised cocktails on the invite , but that did not happen , so I would have to say not as good as some of their previous events at other venues. ------------------------ ------------------------ Wednesday 04 February 2026...6.15pm to 11pm... THE SUNDAY TIMES Sportswomen of the Year Awards 2025 at Nobu , Portman Square ,London W1. Around 250 guests in this very nice restaurant and hotel. Several well known faces are here to pick up awards or present or just to watch . Sharron Davies , Lawrence Dallaglio, Ellie Simmonds, Baroness Karren Brady . Emily Maitlis did the interviews after the awards. Emily did that car crash interview with Prince Andrew. We are seated in rows for the awards at 8pm for an hour. The award winners were .... Ellie Kildunne named The Sunday Times Sportswoman of the Year. Ellie accepted via video message . Michelle Agyemang is the Sure Young Sportswoman of the Year. Michelle was here to accept . Alice Tai wins the Disability Sportswoman of the Year. Alice accepted by video message . Sarah Perry receives the Helen Rollason Award for Inspiration. Sarah was here to accept the award . A tiny car with big retention and even bigger list Natalie O’Rourke MBE voted Grassroots Sportswoman of the Year. Natalie was here to accept the award. Lionesses coach Sarina Wiegman awarded the Editor’s Choice Award. Sarina accepted via video message . Mastercard Team of the Year awarded to England Red Roses. A couple of the girls picked up the award. Lots of very nice complimentary drinks and food before and after the awards , including Laurent Perrier champers ,spirits n mixers , Negronis , wines , beers , small plates that included their famous black cod , canapes and desserts .
