Monday 18 May 2026...7pm to 11pm... VIP / PRESS DAY - THE CHELSEA FLOWER SHOW at The Royal Hospital , Chelsea , London. RHS Chelsea Flower Show in London, set on the banks of the River Thames, is the world’s most famous flower show and aims to inspire, educate and excite visitors about horticulture. Preparations for the RHS Chelsea Flower Show are an intense mix of meticulous planning, sustainable material sourcing, and precision timing to ensure plants bloom exactly for the event. The entire process spans almost a year and transforms the Royal Hospital Chelsea grounds into the pinnacle of the horticultural world. It is held on the 11 acre showground at the Royal Hospital Chelsea. ----------------- A couple of friends were at the lunchtime session where Royalty and many celebs attended, including King Charles and Queen Camilla , Princess Anne , David Beckham, Brian May, Cate Blanchett, Sadiq Khan, Alan Titchmarsh and over a dozen others. We are at the evening session. Pretty amazing the amount of work that goes into getting everything ready for this event. The flower displays are just incredible . A massive crowd here as must be at least 2000 guests here. Lots of suits here as all the banks, and big names like Range Rover and Boodles have their own private entertaining areas. Politicians Jacob Rees-Mogg and Jeremy Hunt were here. Also Nick Ferrari and Fred Dune ( owner of gambling giant Bet Fred ) . There are several acts performing , including a couple of good trios. At 9.30pm we are in the UBS hospitality area. All guests here got a bunch of flowers on the way out. Complimentary Pommery champers , seafood counter ,cheese counter , oysters, canapes and desserts throughout the evening. The show is on all this week , but it is all sold out in advance.
