Thursday 11 June 2026...6.30pm to 10pm.... Private view at 180 Studios, 180 Strand , London WC2. The current major art show at 180 The Strand is GENER8ION: VISIONS OF 2034, an immersive audiovisual exhibition by filmmaker Romain Gavras and musician Surkin.The exhibition—running through July 31—transforms the underground spaces of the brutalist building into a fictional, skewed world of 2034. It features ten multimedia works, including seven new short films and an immersive sound installation that explores "peripheral dystopias".Collaborators: The project features appearances by Yung Lean, 070 Shake, Foals' Yannis Philippakis, and Charlize Theron. Admission is £15 ...and concessions get in for £10. --------- If feels a bit like Spinal Tap as you walk through the different rooms , with many in near darkness. A big crowd of maybe 200 or 300 here ....a DJ is playing the main space. Complimentary drinks and food , including two different cocktails ,prosecco ,wines , beers , Ham, cheese, salumi, charcuterie and three different flavour donuts and French desserts. ---------------------------------------- ----------------------------------------- Wednesday 10 June 2026....7pm to 10pm... ROYAL ACADEMY OF ARTS - Summer Exhibition Preview Party , Piccadilly, London W1. Over 1500 works of art on display in the dozen rooms. Must be over 800 guests at this glamorous art event. Over a dozen photographers here in the courtyard for the celebrity arrivals. Lots of well known faces here. Nice to see LILY ALLEN and LUKE MORLEY from Thunder . Also Grayson Perry , Claudia Winkleman ,Kelly Hoppen, Henry Holland , Fat Tony , Munroe Bergdorf, Vick Hope, Lennon Gallagher , Grace Dent , Alex Jones , Brian Cox , Elle Eyre , Jessie Ware , Clara Amfo, Jackie St Clair, Basis Briggs , Daisy Lowe , Jonathan Shalit and many more . Three DJs spin tunes for 45 mins each. At 9.30pm we have the live act . If the weather is nice they play outside in the courtyard , but tonight it is indoors . SASHA KEABLE arrived on stage at 9.30pm for her 30 mins set. A white female and a soulful r n b set , with hints of Adele . She was backed by keyboards and drums . Sasha has released singles and EPs over the past couple of years and has been nominated for a BRIT Award and MOBO Award. Lots of nice complimentary drinks and food , including Fortnums champers , four different cocktails and wines. A seafood buffet including oysters along with bowl foods , canapes and tubs of ice cream. Then the after party for around 150 guests at Fortnum & Mason 3rd floor bar. 10pm to 12.30pm Tonight's performer Sasha Keable was here , and a couple of other celebs. The DJ got the folks dancing. Complimentary Fortnums champers , seven different cocktails , wines and canapes. All guests got a three item goodie bag of Fortnums chocolates, a 200ml bottle of Fortnums champers and cocktail voucher cards to use in their bar.
