Friday 19 June 2026. HARRY STYLES + SHANIA TWAIN live at Wembley Stadium. Harry and Shania play show 4 of their 12 massive shows at Wembley. I will be going back to see this great pairing for a third time. --------- Another massive 80,000 or 90,000 sold out stadium show by Harry. It is much hotter than the two shows I saw here last weekend. I am in one the four premium viewing areas within the walkways. Still cannot get over how much the mainly young female fans here are paying. £800 - complimentary drinks and food all day , along with a goodie bag and first entry to this area. £400 - second entry to this area. £300 - entry here after the other two . SHANIA TWAIN performs the same set , and is wearing another age defying outfit of black boots , long black gloves , and a short red satin dress , that's so short you can nearly see Colorado. A really good set , with her two biggest hits at the end, ' That Don't Impress Me Much' and ' Man, I Feel Like a Woman', which get the crowd singing and dancing. HARRY STYLES performs the same setlist, but it's a few minutes longer as a track is stopped halfway through as a female fan was in distress , so they replayed the track from the start. Harry arrives on stage wearing short shorts , that send his fans wild. Another time he notices a confusing fan sign that says ' I missed the Dog Bus for this concert ' which he got the female to explain in detail how it worked. His band are all in nice pastel blue outfits. Harry is very fit as he constantly dances and runs around the walkways. He had two personal security chaps following his every move on the floor ,along with a female on phone film recording for his social.media purposes. Halfway through the show , dusk appears and the light show goes full monty, and becomes a real spectacle as you look around the enormous crowd . The encore is a real treat with fireworks and lasers for ' Sign of The Times' and 'As It Was' , with Harry running a couple of complete laps of the walkways blowing kisses to the fans. A great show from a performer at the top of his game. -------------------------------------- -------------------------------------- Thursday 18 June 2026....I went to two events tonight... 6pm to 8pm . Modern & Contemporary Art Evening & Afternoon Sale - preview - Phillips Gallery , 30 Berkeley Square, Mayfair, London W1. Only 50 or 60 guests here, compared to the usual 200 plus. 95 lots are on display, including by some big names like Tracey Emin. The auction is held next week on 26 June 2026. All guests got a complimentary sketch book and pencil on departure. Complimentary Ruinart champers for the guests. then nearby ... 8.05pm to 9.30pm . MIU MIU - showcase - 150 New Bond Street , Mayfair London W 1. The Miu Miu London flagship is located on the corner of New Bond Street and Bruton Street. The expansive 700-square-meter boutique over two floors offers the brand's full collections, blending a modern industrial aesthetic with warm, vintage design touches. Around 100 guests here , with most upstairs where the female DJ is playing dance tracks. A mainly younger crowd. Not sure why this store always has a dozen security guys for their events. Must be worried about their expensive items being stolen. They have a dozen male models handing out the drinks and food . Complimentary Laurent Perrier champers ,two different cocktails and canapes for the guests. ---------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------- Wednesday 17 June 2026. ...7.30pm to 10.15pm. V & A Summer Party, South Kensington, London SW7. One of the big three summer party celebrity events in London. The Royal Academy , The V and A and The Serpentine Gallery. A big crowd of around 800 guests here at this well known museum. Held in their outside garden space , by the water feature. A high fashion event , with some stunning outfits. Lots of well known names here with a highlight being MICK JAGGER and girlfriend having a good chin wag with BOB GELDOF and MARIELLA FROSTRUP....even though it is a private event Mick has still brought his personal security guy ....they stay for an hour then nip off. Music pr legend ALAN EDWARDS who told me he has just signed up Nickelback for their next album and tour Nice surprise to see PETER SAVILLE ( English art director and graphic designer. He designed many record sleeves( including Joy Division and New Order) for Factory Records , which he co-founded in 1978 alongside Tony Wilson and Alan Erasmus. Also here RISHI SUNAK, DAVID FURNISH, DAVID HAREWOOD , STEPHEN WEBSTER, DANIEL LISMORE, LADY VICTORIA HERVEY , JACKIE ST CLAIR, BASIA BRIGGS, HARRIS REED, MAYA JAMA, EMILY MAITLIS, ELLIE GOULDING , GRAYSON PERRY and PHILIPPA PERRY , OLLY ALEXANDER , GRACE DENT , MARY CHARTERIS, ANAIS GALLAGHER, PIXIE LOTT, VICK HOPE , FAT TONY , JODIE HARSH, and many more. A DJ surrounded by flowers on a podium in the middle of the water feature area , played tracks before and after the live act....JESSIE WARE performed at 8.40pm for a five song 20 mins set. She was backed by two male dancers and backing tapes. Complimentary Nyetimber English Sparkling Wines and two different cocktails along with different bowl foods and canapes. This event is always a top notch evening
