Sunday 21 June 2026. KANY GARCIA live at Shepherds Bush Empire. Kany García (now aged 43 ) is a Puerto Rican singer and songwriter. She has released several albums over the past 20 years . In 2006, García signed a recording contract with Sony BMG, releasing her debut album Cualquier Día (2007), which was a commercial success, spawning four top 40 singles on the Billboard Latin Tracks. She has won six Latin Grammy Awards out of twenty nominations and has been nominated for three Grammy Awards. Fellow Puerto Rican superstar Bad Bunny plays stadium's worldwide . ----------- Level 1 and 2 seats are full, but stalls standing has plenty of space , and Level 3 is closed, so maybe 1000 tickets sold . Must 80 per cent ' Señoritas" from Puerto Rica here. KANY GARCIA arrived on stage at 8.30 pm for her 1 hour 50 mins set. Kany was backed by six musicians. Kany performed one track playing electric violin, and another playing piano. Kany looks nice and slender in her sparkly black trousers. A few words are spoken in English , but otherwise it is all in Spanish. Lots of "Kany , Kany, Kany" throughout the evening. Ticker tape cannons were used during the encore. It ticked over ok and the crowd sang along and loved it. ------------------------------------- ------------------------------------- Saturday 20 June 2026. ELVIS COSTELLO & THE IMPOSTERS live at Shepherds Bush Empire . His band will include Charlie Sexton on guitar. The support act will be CHRIS DIFFORD from Squeeze. I have seen both Elvis Costello and Squeeze around 20 times. The first time for both was back in 1978. I saw this nice pairing just a few days ago at The Royal Albert Hall. -------- The venue is totally rammed sold out. Lots of middle aged folks here . CHRIS DIFFORD arrived on stage at 7.30pm for his 45 mins set. Chris played the same songs as the Monday RAH show. Several classic Squeeze gems in the set. Exactly the same hilarious stage banter that the crowd loved. ELVIS COSTELLO and THE IMPOSTERS arrived on stage at 8.45pm for their 2 hours 5 mins set. I have seen a couple of dodgy Elvis reviews from this tour , and they mention that Elvis voice and overall sound is not what it should be , but overall it still sounds pretty good to me. Elvis has a huge digital clock by his guitar foot pedals. Elvis mentioned he was at this venue in the 1980s to do The Wogan Show. The set is the same length as The Royal Albert Hall , but a couple of songs are dropped and added. Most of his classics are again in the second half. Maybe The Royal Albert Hall , was slightly better but still a great show here.
