Monday 20 July 2026. Very sad news that football legend KEVIN KEEGAN aged 75 , due to cancer . An incredible player from that all conquering Liverpool super team of the 1970s. One of the greatest players of his generation, Keegan was a force of nature on the pitch and as a manager. He made almost 750 club appearances, winning the League title three times at Liverpool. He managed a few clubs , as well as managing England, as well as getting 63 caps as a player with them. Kevin Keegan's transfer to Hamburg in 1977 was a record-breaking deal. Hamburg paid Liverpool £500,000 for him. This smashed the British transfer record and almost twice the previous German transfer fee, that solidified his status as a European star. Keegan's individual brilliance was recognised with two consecutive Ballon d'Or awards in 1978 and 1979, a rare achievement for any player. --------------------------------- --------------------------------- Monday 20 July 2026. Expect a few big names to perform......also performances before the match . -------------------------- -------------------------- Saturday 18 July 2026. STEEL PANTHER live at The Forum. I have seen them several times before , with the first time in 2009 at Wembley Arena as support to ZZ Top. American sleaze rockers are always very entertaining. Steel Panther is the ultimate time machine for 1980s hair metal. Formed in Los Angeles, the comedic glam-metal band flawlessly channels the Sunset Strip era through over-the-top antics, skintight spandex, massive guitar solos, and razor-sharp satire. They tour mainland Europe then tour the UK. They have brought out a guitar effects pedal called ' The Pussy Melter'. ------ The show was not sold out , as plenty of space behind the VIP tables upstairs. Plenty of females here , despite the tongue in cheek smutty stage banter. The PA is playing the perfect tunes to warm up the crowd , including Def Leopard ,Motley Crue, Skid Row etc. BLACK SONIC PEARLS arrived on stage at 7.55pm for their 30 mins set. Black Sonic Pearls: is a modern rock band, formed in late 2020, BSP steps equally confident on both Alternative/Hard Rock and Metal grounds, taking inspiration from everything from the Seattle Grunge scene of the '90s like Chris Cornell and Soundgarden to Alternative Metal of the 00s . A good set of tracks from their debut album and a random, but good grungy cover of Michael Jackson's ' Earth Song'. STEEL PANTHER arrived on stage at 8.55pm for their 95 mins set. There are two pole dancing podiums either side of the drums , and two scantily lap dancers perform during the first three songs , and then a few songs later on. The band are very entertaining even though some think their whole ‘excessively crude’ schtick is a bit tired now. Audience participation is great , as they love getting girls on stage. There is more crowd surfing than expected. Their older songs go down the best. Look at the song titles , to get some idea of the lyrics. Overall a fantastic show.
