Tuesday 28 July 2026. BRUNO MARS live at Wembley Stadium. Bruno Mars plays his sixth and final massive show here. It is the last of his 20 stadium shows on his European Tour . Support again comes from Victoria Monet and DJ Pee. Wee. ---------- My third time seeing the Bruno Mars show at Wembley Stadium. Pretty incredible he is playing six sold out nights here Various reports saying it was 80,000 or 90,000 a night, but my chum from promoters Live Nation said it was 82,000 for each of his shows here.....nearly half a million tickets sold...wow! His fans do seem a very polite bunch. Both the support acts played their usual 30 mins sets. It was pretty much the same Bruno Mars show as the other two I have seen . Possible that one or two tracks were changed. Another enjoyable show from this proper showman. ---------------------------------- ---------------------------------- Monday 27 July 2026. 24 years ago today on 27 July 2002. SEX PISTOLS played Crystal Palace Sports Centre ,London. I was at this show , which was their first since the 1996 ' Filthy Lucre' reunion tour. Not the greatest venue, but it was the longest show the band have ever played. I have a nice poster of the gig signed by all four members. Later that year , they would play a one off American show in California...I was there. A massive outdoor show with support from 16 UK and USA punk bands over two stages Sex Pistols + Offspring + Social Distortion + Bad Religion + Buzzcocks + Blink 182 + New Found Glory + X + Damned at The Glen Helen Blockbuster Pavillion,Devore , California , USA. 14 Sept 2002 65,000 capacity sold out , in the scorching desert heat. The bands listed above , were the ones we watched. It was so hot we had to miss some bands to take shade in our 7 seater people carrier. These were the only two Sex Pistols shows that year. Aftershow update for that Crystal Palace show... Sex Pistols - Crystal Palace Sports Arena - 27.07.2002 A nice turn out including Rat Scabies , Mike Peters , James Stevenson, Mike Rossi , Steve English, John Tiberi. At the venue after the show there were 2 huge fridges full of free beer from Carling the sponsors. A great atmosphere with loads of friends and family from all four members of the band . This latest until 1am then we moved on to a private party held by John Lydon in Wandsworth . John kindly paid for all of it and I called it a night at 4am . John was still there at 6am. ---------------------------- ----------------------------- Sunday 26 July 2026. Madison Square Garden in New York has always been a major world famous arena venue. I went there just the once in 1979 , when The Bee Gees played at the height of their fame. Billy Joel has played there 150 times . Elton John has played there 74 times. Many other bands have played , but some American acts are massive in USA ,but not that popular in the UK. A band called PHISH have just played their 92nd show there ...incredible. ------------------------------ ------------------------------ Friday 24 July 2026 and Saturday 25 July 2026. BRUNO MARS live at Wembley Stadium. Bruno ( now aged 40) plays shows number four and five of his SIX nights at Wembley Stadium. Global superstar Bruno Mars announced The Romantic Tour will be visiting Wembley as part of his first full headline world tour in nearly a decade. An incredible SIX sold out nights at Wembley Stadium.....wow! Bruno has sold over 100 million records worldwide, including ten number-one singles on the Billboard Hot 100 and Guinness World Records: First male artist to achieve three 10-million-selling singles worldwide ("Just the Way You Are", "Grenade", and "Uptown Funk!"). Special guests are VICTORIA MONÉT and DJ PEE. WEE. Victoria Monét won three awards at the 66th Annual Grammy Awards on February 4, 2024: Best New Artist, Best R&B Album for Jaguar II, and Best Engineered Album, Non-Classical. She also received seven total nominations. DJ Pee . Wee is the vinyl-focused alter ego of Grammy-winning artist Anderson .Paak, known for playing energetic all-vinyl sets blending soul, funk, and R&B. I will be attending both these shows. ---------- Both shows were completely sold out. Both shows had exactly the same running times. All three acts had use of the big screens . DJ PEE. WEE arrived on stage at 6.40pm for his 30 mins set. DJ Pee .Wee—the vibrant DJ alter ego of Grammy-winning artist Anderson .Paak—delivered high-energy, eclectic live set, featuring infectious charisma, genre-blending vinyl tracks, and massive crowd engagement. Mixing Abba , Oasis, Queen, Amy Winehouse etc with dance party anthems . Crazy outfits and dancing, that was very entertaining, and the crowd loved it. VICTORIA MONET arrived on stage at 7.15pm for her 30 mins set. Victoria was joined by four female dancers , all five onstage dressed in raunchy black. Some great dance routines to backing tapes. Mixing tracks from her Grammy Award winning debut album , and her upcoming second album. A good set with hints of Beyonce and Janet Jackson . BRUNO MARS arrived on stage at 8.15pm for his two hour set. Many of the crowd are dressed up in ' Romantic' red . There is no stage catwalk extension , but we had lots of lights, lasers, pyros , flames ,ticker tape . He has a five man brass section , that got really funky , and the bass player and guitarist joined in for some great dance routines, like an old school soul revue. Bruno Mars channels legendary funk and soul icons. He matches the explosive stage presence of James Brown, the sensual R&B grooves of Prince, and the precise pop showmanship of Michael Jackson. After 60 mins Bruno was joined by Anderson Park for a few songs from the album they recorded together as Silk Sonic. Bruno sang on the bonnet of a red low rider Chevrolet after around 45 mins. Anderson Paak joined Bruno for the five Silk Sonic tracks. A medley of songs near the end with just Bruno at the piano got the crowd singing. I knew a few of his tracks , including 'Marry You' , ' Just The Way You Are' and a fantastic ' Uptown Funk' that was played at the very end. Bruno is like an an old school showman , and very enjoyable to watch . Full BRUNO MARS setlist played...
