Sunday 06 September 2026 BON JOVI live at Wembley Stadium. Bon Jovi play the second of three massive shows at Wembley Stadium. I will be going back to see them again. JAMES BAY is again the support act. ----------- The stadium is fully sold out again. Pretty amazing how popular Bon Jovi still are It is nice and sunny again. It is a Sunday so the show starts 30 mins earlier. JAMES BAY and his band arrived on stage at 6pm for their 45 mins set . Again, he went down well with the crowd. BON JOVI arrived on stage at 7.20pm and played for 2 hours 35 mins. It was the again a 22 song setlist like the opening night here, but one track was dropped and one was added. I am in general pitch admission , so not as good a view as the opening night. I felt i was looking at the big screens most of the show. Rock bands seem to stick with just the main stage, rather than add stage extension catwalks, like the shows I saw here by Harry Styles, Bruno Mars and The Weeknd. After 30 mins , James Bay joined him for the track 'Legendary'. The three classic hit tracks from their ' Slippery When Wet' album still sound superb and go down great. The females here love the bands rock ballads , and sing loudly and switch their phone torches on en mass . Jon Bon Jovi is struggling with his voice a bit , but sooo many fab big tracks made it another great show. --------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------- Saturday 05 September 2026. A TRIBUTE TO TALK TALK and MARK HOLLIS ( R.I.P. in 2019) live at The Forum. Talk Talk musicians alongside an ensemble of special guests will come together in an exclusive one-off event, seven years after their last performance in tribute to Talk Talk and Mark Hollis. Featuring Talk Talk founding member, Simon Brenner and Talk Talk musicians Phil Ramocon, and Ian Curnow, the band also features Sophie Barker (Zero 7), Gale Paridjanian, (Turin Brakes), Tim Elsenburg (Sweet Billy Pilgrim), Chris Hampson, and Jacob Brown. Celebrating the 40th anniversary of Talk Talk’s ' The Colour of Spring' , the album will be played back during the event. Talk Talk are considered very cool because they evolved from a catchy 1980s synth-pop band into an experimental art-rock group that practically invented the post-rock genre. They started out making stylish, polished pop hits like "It's My Life" and "Talk Talk" On their 1986 album The Colour of Spring, they ditched rigid electronic keyboards for real pianos, organs, and warm acoustic drums. With albums like Spirit of Eden (1988) and Laughing Stock (1991), frontman Mark Hollis completely abandoned radio-friendly structures, pop singles, and touring. I saw Talk Talk supporting Duran Duran twice at Hammersmith Odeon in 1981. Also headlining The Venue , Victoria in 1982 , and both their critically acclaimed headline shows at Hammersmith Odeon in 1986. ------------ The venue is not sold out , but looks pretty full. A middle aged crowd who probably still like buying vinyl records and take their music likes seriously etc. Due to the Elizabeth Line closed down out West due to a big fire, it meant i got to the venue late and missed the 30 mins support sets by Fyfe Dangerfield and Ed Harcourt, but both performed songs in the main set. SPIRIT OF TALK TALK arrived on stage at 9.05pm and played for 1 hour 40 mins. The various singers were backed by a well rehearsed band and a female backing singer. The singers included members of Ride ,Turin Brakes , Zero 7 and Gulliemots. A great start with three really good tracks. Some of the tracks in the middle were lesser known album tracks. Three of their tracks near the end were stunning versions of ' Such a Shame, 'Its My Life' and the final encore of ' Life's What You Make It' with all tonight's artists on stage. Great to hear these tracks live again. Full setlist played tonight... Today ( with Tim Elsenberg) Talk Talk (with Tim Elsenberg) Living in Another World (with Mark Gardener from Ride ) I Don't Believe in You (with Tim Elsenberg) Time It’s Time (with Fyfe Dangerfield from Gulliemots) The Rainbow ( with Mark Gardener) I Believe in You ( with Ed Harcourt) The Colour of Spring (Mark Hollis song) (with Ed Harcourt) Happiness Is Easy (with Sophie Barker from Zero 7) Tomorrow Started (with Sophie Barker) Give It Up (with Olly Knights from Turin Brakes ) Such a Shame (with Sophie Barker) It's My Life ( with Sophie Barker) Encore: The Party's Over (with Tim Elsenberg) Life's What You Make It (with Olly Knights) (all artists back on stage for finale) ---------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------- Friday 04 September 2026. BON JOVI live at Wembley Stadium. Bon Jovi plays the first of three massive shows at Wembley Stadium. Grammy Award-winning, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees and rock royalty Bon Jovi are bringing the Forever Tour to Wembley Stadium in 2026. Jon Bon Jovi ( now aged 64) has recovered from his surgery on his vocal cords. Bon Jovi have sold over 100 million records . I have seen Bon Jovi around 25 times. First times was supporting KISS three times in 1984. Then four times headlining in 1986 at Hammersmith Odeon on their amazing ' Slippery When Wet ' Tour , when they were on fire......Also New Jersey , USA in 2000. Pretty amazing they can play three massive Wembley Stadium shows these days , even though they have not released anything great since guitarist Richie Sambora left them in 2013. No doubt those huge bangers from the 1980s and 1990s and 2000s will keep everyone happy. JAMES BAY is the support act. ----------- Bon Jovi soft rock sound still appeals to the many females here. We get a nice view at the back of the gold circle. JAMES BAY and his band arrived on stage at 6.30pm for their 45 mins set. They have full use of the nice big screens. He did a good set that included his hit ' Let It Go' and ended with his number two hit ' Hold Back The River'. BON JOVI arrived on stage at 7.50pm and played for a nice long 2 hours 45 mins. There are seven of them on stage for this tour. As it is September , dusk falls earlier at around 8pm . The big screens they are using here are fantastic , and the lights were good too. There is no catwalk stage extension , or fireworks ,or flames, or lasers or confetti or ticket tape. Jon Bon Jovi is a silver fox these days, as no hair colouring. Videos on YouTube from previous shows in New York, Edinburgh and Dublin clearly show Jon cannot reach the high notes anymore , but his loyal fans don't seem too bothered. The band members do a good job of helping Jon out with the vocals. On several tracks he grabs the microphone tightly and concentrates to get his best vocal possible. The big screens show a teleprompter monitor reminding him of the lyrics. Most of the big anthems were in the second half I want to take a moment to give props to Phil X. Yes at times I did miss seeing Richie Sambora on the stage, but more times than not I never even thought about it. That surprised me. Phil X filled those shoes as good as anyone can which is no surprise, he’s a great talent. It was also amazing seeing David Bryan basically have the same energy on stage as he did back in 1987. The man seems to not have aged one day. As the show ended I felt goose bumps up and down my arms. I was watching Jon smile ear to ear and I could feel the pride he felt being back on the stage. Was it perfect, no. But was it a good time? 100% yes! And at the end of the day that’s what rock and roll music is about. Remember , good idea to see them now just in case Jon retires because of his voice issues. Full BON JOVI setlist played...
