Wednesday 09 September 2026. BON JOVI live at Wembley Stadium. Bon Jovi plays the last of their three massive shows at Wembley Stadium. I will be going back to see them a third time here. JAMES BAY is again the support act. ----------- Another sold out show , and again lots of folks here from mainland Europe , as they are not playing any shows there on this short tour . I have a wander behind the scenes , and come across at least a dozen Edwin Shirley Trucking vehicles. Had a couple of coffees in crew catering. I have a nice view in the gold circle standing , in front of the VIP platform. Rock & Roll jeweller Stephen Webster was there watching the show JAMES BAY and his band were again on for their really good 45 mins set. James was sitting in a chair as he has his leg in plaster ,after a football injury the day before. His same really good set included ' Let It Go' and 'Hold Back The River'. Later on Jon Bon Jovi would say how much he admires James Bay. BON JOVI arrived on stage at 7.50pm and played for a mammoth 2 hours 40 mins, which was 5 mins longer than the other two shows here. 23 songs played , which was one more than the other two nights. It looks like four songs added , including ' Blood On Blood' and three songs dropped . The screens and lights looked fantastic in the darkness Jon Bon Jovi certainly knows how to work the crowd. Phil X is a perfect replacement for Richie Sambora Original drummer Tico Torres has been really great for every show. Jon said in an interview that many Bon Jovi world tours of over 100 dates each , has taken its toll on his voice. You have to admire the way he still performs despite this. At the end of the show , Jon said the band will be touring next year Another totally fantastic show , with so many big tracks played. Full BON JOVI setlist played tonight... Intro tape - Join Together (The Who song) Blood on Blood Beautiful Drug We Weren't Born to Follow Lost Highway You Give Love a Bad Name Born to Be My Baby Legendary Who Says You Can't Go Home Bed of Roses Have a Nice Day These Days This House Is Not for Sale It's My Life Livin' on a Prayer (a cappella intro) Raise Your Hands Captain Crash & the Beauty Queen From Mars (Tour debut; first time since 2019) Hey God Love's the Only Rule (Tour debut) Keep the Faith Encore: I'll Be There for You Wanted Dead or Alive Bad Medicine Always --------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------- Tuesday 08 September 2026....I went to two events tonight... 4pm to 6.30pm. THE ITALIAN GREYHOUND - showcase - 62 Seymour Street , Marble Arch , London W1. The first thing I notice about this Italian restaurant and bar , is that it's across the road from where i had my first full time job as a 16 year old. We had a tour around , then we sat down for some nice food and drinks. The main space is on the ground floor , and there is a private basement and bar. They can host events from 20 to 250 guests . Complimentary prosecco , wines , beers and very nice pizza slices, pasta dishes and other plates. then FASTER PUSSYCAT live at The Underworld, Camden , London. Faster Pussycat are playing a 40th anniversary UK & European Tour.tour. From the depths of the mid 80s LA Glam rock scene, a bunch of attitude driven, misguided youth brought to the surface their brand of alley cat rock. Not glam, not punk but somewhere in between, with an attitude and swagger all their own, that's Faster Pussycat. I saw Faster Pussycat support Guns N Roses at Hammersmith Odeon in 2987. I saw Faster Pussycat headline Hammersmith Odeon in 1989 , and supporting Mr Big at Shepherds Bush Empire in 2017. Faster Pussycat currently has only one original member left in the band: vocalist Taime Downe, who founded the group in 1985. With support from Blacklist Union + Femme Fatale feat Lorraine Lewis. Femme Fatale was an American hard rock band. Originally from Albuquerque, the band moved to Los Angeles and released one studio album before disbanding. Lead vocalist Lorraine Lewis resurrected the band in 2013 but disbanded after becoming the singer for Vixen. Following her departure of Vixen she resurrected the band once again in 2025 with new music. Femme Fatale breakout success was fuelled by two hit MTV videos, "Waiting for the Big One" and "Falling In and Out of Love'. www.theunderworkdcamden.co.uk - Visit their website here to buy tickets for this show and others at this great club venue. ------------ I get to this great rock club venue , and no surprise that it says sold out. I get a nice close view just a few rows from stage for all three acts. Big queues for the merch stand all through the evening. FEMME FATALE arrived on stage at 7.30pm for their 30 mins set. Lorraine Lewis still has the full on rock chick persona of long blonde hair and a tight black leather outfit and heels....did you know she is on OnlyFans to supplement her career... Tonight Lorraine was backed by an all male band. A nice mix of classic oldies and new tracks from her upcoming album. In the late 1980s , Lorraine wanted to be ' the female David Lee Roth' . Would be great to see her play a headline show when her album comes out . A top notch performance. Full Femme Fatale setlist played... My Baby's Gun Falling in and Out of Love (Femme Fatale song) Bad Love Home is Where the Heart is Don't Call Me Your Angel Living Like There's No Tomorrow Waiting for the Big One ( Femme Fatale song) BLACKLIST UNION arrived on stage at 8.10pm for their 35 mins set. Formed in Hollywood, California, in 2004 by frontman Tony West to bring together top musicians with rowdy reputations. Tony West has ' Rock & Roll Outlaw ' tattooed across his chest . They played a really good uptempo set of sleaze rock tracks , and were joined by Lorraine Lewis for one track. FASTER PUSSYCAT arrived on stage at 9.25pm for their 75 mins set . The band were introduced as ' The Greatest Rock & Roll Band in The World'. Faster Pussycat delivered a raunchy, high-energy glam-metal show filled with 1980s Sunset Strip nostalgia and gritty punk attitude. Lead singer Taime Downe maintains his classic 80s aesthetic and commands the stage with swagger and gritty, raspy vocals. Taime joked about how he was loving being in the UK so he could have Smoky Bacon Crisps and the bass player was loving Monster Munch treats All their old classics were played along with a couple of nifty covers versions. The band were on fire tonight , and were just fantastic. Full setlist played by FASTER PUSSYCAT tonight... Motorbike Don't Change That Song Cathouse Slip of the Tongue You're So Vain (Carly Simon cover) Like a Ghost The Power and the Glory Hole Pirate Love ( The Heartbreakers cover) House of Pain Nonstop to Nowhere Where There's a Whip There's a Way Bathroom Wall Shut Up and Fuck ( Betty Blowtorch cover) Babylon --------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------- Monday 07 September 2026. 5pm to 7.50pm PLASA at Olympia , Kensington, West London. Lots of lovely equipment everywhere, as there must be over 100 companies showcasing. Many of the stands are giving out complimentary beers and wines. A DJ is playing on the main stage. then 8pm to 11pm AVOLITES - 50th anniversary party - The Latymers, 157 Hammersmith Road London W6. Avolites, the British lighting control manufacturer celebrating its 50th anniversary this year. They are based in Park Royal London NW10. Complimentary spirits n mixers, wines , beers ,ciders, Guinness and a beef and chicken and rice buffet. Cup cakes for dessert . When it was The Red Cow... The Red Cow pub on Hammersmith Road hosted live music and rock gigs primarily during the 1970s before closing down in late 1978. Originally known for jazz and country music.1970s: Transitioned into a renowned rock and punk venue supporting up-and-coming bands. On April 23, 1976: Famous for hosting AC/DC’s very first British and European concert. In late 1978: Closed with a month-long festival after the brewery decided to change the venue, later being demolished in the early 1980s and eventually replaced by The Latymers. During the 1970s, it served as a major rock and punk venue, hosting iconic bands including The Jam, AC/DC, The Stranglers, The Damned, and The Police. The pub was used as a filming location for the TV cop show The Sweeney. It is notably where actor Ray Winstone got his very first acting job as an extra I went to a couple of gigs there.. XTC Red Cow Pub, London 15.09.1977 We arrived at this gig on our Suzuki motorbikes. Went inside and saw some bikers from The Road Rats , Windsor. We came out after the gig and The Road Rats bikers cut the wires on our motorbikes. Had to push it all the way back home to Shepherds Bush . 999 Red Cow Pub, London 23.12.1977
