Sunday 04 October 2026.

Sunday 04 October 2026. AGNIESZKA CHYLINSKA live at Shepherds Bush Empire. Agnieszka Chylińska is a Polish singer. From 1994 to 2003, she was the vocalist for the Polish rock band O.N.A. Since 2003 she has performed as Chylińska and in 2004 she released an album titled Winna. Since 2008 she has been a judge on the Polish version of the Got Talent franchise called Mam talent!. She is very popular in Poland with several hit albums . ----------------- Level 3 is 75% unsold, but all the other areas look full. The middle aged London Polish community are out on force. The merch is selling lots of merch related to her 50th birthday . It is an early start, early finish show, as it's a Sunday i presume. AGNIESZKA and her band arrived arrived on stage at 7.05pm and played for 95 mins. All the lyrics and all the stage banter was in Polish , but the pop rock songs ticked along ok . She reminds me of a Polish version of Pink. She was wearing extra baggy trousers . Her burly personal security guy is in the pit watching her every move. The reaction of the crowd was pretty amazing as they chanted her name non-stop and sang along loudly to all her lyrics. Finale was her backing band singing a Backstreet Boys track , to finish off in party , party mode. A good five minutes after the house lights had gone up, half the crowd were still chanting her name. A superb crowd atmosphere , which is what really made the night. ----------------------------------------- ----------------------------------------- Saturday 03 October 2026...I went to two events tonight. 5pm to 8.30pm TEQUILA MOCKINGBIRD - opening - 1 Lovat Lane , Monument , London EC3. STORMTROOPER live at The Hope and Anchor , Islington. Stormtrooper are playing rare shows to celebrate their 50th anniversary. The band feature Nigel Hutchings who was General Manager of The Marquee Club. The band also feature the original bass player Jeff Piccinini. Plus supports from Trash and Social Security . 3 of the original 1970s punk bands come together for one night only! Stormtrooper played just the one gig , back in 1975. Stormtrooper released a single in 1977 , but soon split up . Trash released two singles on Polydor in 1977 and 1978 , before splitting up in 1979. ---------- Good to see this legendary pub venue is full. Saw around a dozen great gigs here back in the pub rock heyday , including The Specials , Madness ,The Skids , Johnny Thunders and more. I catch most of the good set by TRASH , which included their debut single from 1977 'Priorities' and a couple of cover versions , '96 Tears' and ' The Last Time'. STORMTROOPER arrived on stage at 9.55pm for their 55 mins set. They have just come back from four shows in Canada, so are nice and tight. They opened up with a gem from the old days ' I'm on Fire'. Nigel does a great job on vocals. Great being close up to band members , who sounded really good. Good to hear their debut single from back in the day ' I'm A Mess' , which they promoted back then with giveaway badges that Sid Vicious famously wore. They finished off a good set , with a cover of ' These Boots Are Made For Walking'.
