Nice and busy here , as must be over 200 guests are here standing and seating. We are arrived early , so get a nice comfy table for four. Market Place Food Hall Victoria officially opens to the public on October 16, 2026, inside Victoria Place Shopping Centre (Unit 15-16, Victoria Station, London SW1W 9SJ). It is promoted as the UK's first food hall located directly inside a railway station. • Capacity & Layout: 180 to 200 seats spanning roughly 5,000 sq ft, featuring live train departure boards so commuters can track their journeys on big screens while eating. • Food & Drink: 10 independent global food vendors (including Latin American street food like Streat Latin) plus a central bar serving craft beer and cocktails. • Entertainment: Live sports screens showing major games, plus after-work drink specials. Lots of complimentary drinks and food here tonight. Ten food booths including Argentinian steak strips and fries, Mexican ,Greek , Caribbean , pizza slices etc. We have press wristbands so had a bottle of Moet in a ice bucket , different cocktails , spirits n mixers , prosecco, wines , beers , ciders, Guinness etc. A DJ was playing in the background. We had a great time here It's worth noting , that none of the ten vendors are selling burger, as McDonald's and others are nearby in the station. ----------------------------------------------- ----------------------------------------------- Wednesday 14 October 2026...I went to two events tonight... 6.15pm to 7.45pm . DIPTYQUE - launch party - 107 New Bond Street , Mayfair , London W1. Diptyque is a classic French luxury fragrance and home goods house. They have a nice library wall area , with photos and items linked to their 1960s origins Around 150 guests are here , with a 75% female crowd. At 7pm we had a speech based around the new collection. Around 100 guests here at this famous restaurant and bar that celebrates an incredible 50 years this year RACHEL JACKSON is here with a stand by the DJ . A very nice lively party as FAT TONY is spinning the tunes DAVINA McCALL is here as guest of honour , with her husband celebrity hairstylist MICHAEL DOUGLAS. Great to see Davina on the dancefloor, really enjoying herself. Davina McCall has partnered with jewellery designer Rachel Jackson to launch a limited-edition, four-piece jewellery collection supporting the charity Choose Love.
