Sunday 18 October 2026...7pm to 10pm...
SOLIS - press preview - 26 Kingly Street , Soho , London W1.
Kingly Street is a vibrant area that runs parallel to Carnaby Street .
We actually had a nice window table here.
They were part of the Arcade Food Hall , but this is their first standalone.
The move to a bigger site means a bigger menu. Solis’s signature grilled half chicken with smoked Aji-Aji chilli oil and flat iron steak with steak sauce remain, but they’re now joined by an expanded grill .
We had four starters to share.
The mains was a delicious flat iron steak with sauce and lovely tasting fries.
The dessert was a very yummy 10/10 blackcurrant Basque cheesecake.
We had three very nice cocktails each and a glass of malbec with the steak.
The staff were great, and we had a lovely time here.
What they say...
Solis brings the fire of the Latin American parrilla to your neighbourhood, with simple, honest dishes inspired by Spain, Portugal, Uruguay and Argentina. From the first drink to the last spoonful of cheesecake, the menu is made for sharing: snacks to begin, a Uruguayan-style prawn cocktail or baked torta pascoalina, then bigger cuts from the grill, like Chateaubriand with chimichurri. The food draws on the warmth and generosity of dining across these cultures. At the bar, cocktails, sangria and wine carry the evening on. Come hungry, bring good company and let dinner become la sobremesa: that unhurried stretch of conversation after the plates have been cleared.
Solis brings its Latin American spirit to Kingly Street, in the heart of Soho. The restaurant is an intimate space of around 65 seats
There is 50% off food for their opening week , commencing Monday 19 October 2026.
