Wednesday 21 October 2026...I went to two events today... 4pm to 6pm . WESTMINSTER VENUES COLLECTION - showcase - Royal Horticultural Halls , Victoria , London SW1. Around 30 venues are on stands here showcasing in the main hall. Half are just got meeting rooms , and the other half offer a bit more. Around 150 folks are floating from stand to stand. Those here included ... The British War Museum ( with s Winston Churchill lookalike all dressed up ) Madame Tussauds Lords Cricket Ground National Portrait Gallery Tate Britain Savoy Hotel Westminster Abbey They had a bar at one end , so there was complimentary drinks and food , including two cocktails ( including a very nice old fashioned) , prosecco , wines , beers , bowl foods and canapes. then 7.15pm to 10.45pm. TED'S CRAZY GOLF - launch party - 78 Great Eastern Road ,Shoreditch ,London EC2. This venue is opposite The Virgin Hotel . This is their second opening ....the first is in Oxford. A nice buzzy atmosphere with nice tunes being played loudly. We end up sitting with the nice family that run it. The venue is run by the granddaughter and her partner , and we are sitting with her mum and grandparents , who are down from Cheshire for the launch. Two 9 hole crazy golf course are downstairs , which were good fun. Complimentary drinks and food tonight included six different cocktails, wines, beers , hot dogs, pizza slices ,popcorn and tubs of ice cream.
