Aftershow News: 12th May 2003

Whitesnake + Gary Moore + Y n T live at The Brighton Centre 12 May 2003.It rained all the way down but it was worth it as we had one of those great rock n roll moments .Y n T and Gary Moore had just finished their sets and as we had backstage passes we went for a wander .There was no bar until after the show so we sat down in the catering area for the road crew and had a coffee and a slice of apple pie . A dark haired man goes to the coffee machine then turns around and asks us " Is This Coffee Decaf?" It is Led Zep guitar legend Jimmy Page . I ask if he plans to come on stage tonight , he says " No" and then pulls up a chair and we chat for 10 mins about Led Zep stuff etc, he is really looking forward to the DVD that Zep are releasing in a couple of weeks , he of course played with David Coverdale 10 years ago , he said he could not make The Wembley Arena date as it was his daughters birthday .It was such a cool chat . At the aftershow there was Iron Maiden manager Rod Smallwood , rock photographer Ross Halfin one of rocks biggest booking agents Rod McSween. You could say Brighton rocked .
