Happy Birthday to GENE SIMMONS who is 71 today. I have seen KISS live over 30 times since their debut London shows in 1976 at Hammersmith Odeon. Also includes all four shows on their second UK tour in 1980. ---------------- Happy Birthday to ELVIS COSTELLO who is 66 today. I have seen Elvis Costello live over 20 times since 1978. The last time was March 2020 at Hammersmith Apollo, just before lockdown kicked in. ---------------- Happy Birthday to actor SEAN CONNERY who hits the grand old age of 90 today. ---------------- 25 August 1975 It was 45 years ago today that BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN released his classic album "Born To Run". I was at both his legendary debut UK shows at Hammersmith Odeon later that year.
