Tuesday 27 April 2021. Happy Birthday to original KISS guitarist ACE FREHLEY who is 70 today. I have seen all the various KISS line-ups. These are the KISS shows i have seen with Ace. 1976 - both shows at Hammersmith Odeon. 1979 - KISS + Judas Priest in Chicago, USA. 1980 - all four UK arena shows. Ace departed KISS for a bit , then they reformed with the original line-up and put the costumes back on. 1996 - all four UK shows 1997 - two shows - Ghent, Belgium and Finsbury Park. 1999 - two shows - Paris, France and Wembley Arena. I also saw three shows by Ace Frehleys Comet. 1988 - Hammersmith Odeon. 2008 - Astoria. 2009 - Shepherds Bush Empire. ---------- Happy Birthday to Adam Ant original guitarist MARCO PERONI who is 62 today. I first saw him with Adam Ant in 1979 , when they were a support band at The Electric Ballroom. ------------------- Wednesday 28 April 2021. SIR TOM JONES is all over the tv and radio and media this week promoting his new album. Sir Tom Jones is on course for his first UK Number 1 album in two decades with Surrounded By Time. Friday afternoon update - Tom’s new studio album went straight in at number one. ------------------- Saturday 01 May 2021. SKY ARTS 5pm - Marc Bolan documentary. SKY ARTS 6pm - Kurt Cobain documentary. ------------------- Sunday 02 May 2021. Happy Birthday to my youngest son ,who is 31 today - where have all the years gone? Happy Birthday to FRANKIE VALLI who is 87 today. He is still touring, and due to play The Royal Albert Hall in 2022. I have seen him twice at The Royal Albert Hall, with the first time in 1980. I also attended the opening press night and party for The Jersey Boys musical. 18 Mar 2008.The Jersey Boys - The Story Of Frankie Valli And The Four Seasons at The Prince Edward Theatre,London.It must have cost a fortune and it put band gig aftershows to shame.They have laid on a convoy of coaches to take us to the splender of The Natural History Museum where some 1000 press,vips,cast members and their guests get stuck into the free booze and food from 11pm to 2am. Faces here inc Frankie Valli,Brian May,Anita Dodson,Barbara Windsor,Cilla Black,Lionel Blair, Christopher Biggins,Vanessa Felz,Carole Malone and a few more.There was a 12 piece jazz band playing the classics with the dinosaur bones hanging over our heads......Excellent bash......
