Friday 27 August 2021. THE WINDSORS - ENDGAME is at The Prince Of Wales Theatre, Coventry Street, London W1. The critics said that this lampoon of the royal family is uproariously funny . A spinoff from the rackety Channel 4 sitcom, it imagines dimwit younger royals putting their differences aside to stop evil Camilla Parker Bowles (Tracy-Ann Oberman) making gormless Prince Charles (Harry Enfield) absolute monarch and taking Britain back to the dark ages.j Expect some laugh out loud comedy directed towards The Royal Family. ----------------- They say the tube trains are still only running on 50% capacity but the West End is totally buzzing, and all the street performers are back in Leicester Square. The production is pretty sparse , compared to the Cinderella production a couple of days ago. The ticket prices here are a lot cheaper too. It felt a bit short as only on for 95 mins over two sets of 50 mins and 45 mins. HARRY ENFIELD uncannily looks like Prince Charles, and everyone loves him. The other cast members also do a great job as the jokes and routines include Prince Edwards dodginess, Meghan and Harry's New Ageism, the supposed commonness of Kate Middleton, Fergy doing porn and her ultra posh two daughters , and a foul mouthed Camilla. Routines included when Harry and Meghan spent a night of drunken passion together. Kate shapes up for a fight with Camilla with the words "I'll open yer up like a can of beans". The show felt like an episode of Spitting Image brought to life. It is all very slapstick, and done in the worst possible taste, but absoloutly hilarious.
