Wednesday 15 September 2021....6pm to 10.15pm.. PACIFIC ASIA TRAVEL ASSOCIATION - showcase - Tanner Warehouse, 50 Bermondsey Street, London Bridge, London SE1. This converted warehouse dates back to the 1800s. Around 200 guests here at this travel showcase for these long distance destinations. Most are on the red list, so it looks like 2022 at the earliest to fly there. Stands feature tourist boards and luxury hotels & resorts etc. At 8.30pm there was a rapper performing a track, then a drag act dancing to a track. At 9pm there was a lucky draw where there were a dozen prizes with the top three being flights to Thailand, Malaysia and Taiwan....sadly i was not a winner... 1.PATA 2.Travel Weekly 3.Hong Kong Tourism Board 4.Macao Government Tourism Board On the Macao stand was a nice woman who told me she had been to see Nick Cave in Oxford the night before and that her other half owns a vinyl record store..Rapture ,12 Market Square, Oxford.
