Thursday 16 September 2021....I went to two events tonight... 6.30pm to 8.30pm THOM SWEENEY - summer party - 24 Old Burlington Street, London W1. Thom Sweeney are an upmarket mens tailors in the street next to Savile Row. Their flagship store is a welcoming space for clients to relax, socialise and shop. The store showcases Ready-To-Wear collection, Bespoke and Made-To-Measure services under one roof, and hosts the workrooms for their cutters, tailors and apprentices. It has a full bar on the ground floor, and a pool table on the first floor. No surprise that it is a 90% smartly dressed male crowd. There is a pizza truck outside so many guests are on the pavement. JAY RUTLAND was here. Jay is a multi-millionaire businessman who married Tamara Ecclestone in 2013. Marian Carey and Elton John performed at their "money no object" wedding. Complimentary Krug champers, Margarita cocktails, beers and very nice full size wood-fired pizza from www.pizzadiprato.co.uk then 8.35pm to 9.30pm NEW YORK NIGHTS PARTY at Coach, 206 Regent Street, London W1. American clothing and accessories store are having a New York themed party. We have basketball hoops and a photo booth for guests to use. A DJ plays NY dance tunes and we get a display from break dancers and a roller-disco expert. Complimentary wines, beers, slides of pizza ,popcorn and various Hershey chocs.
