BIFFY CLYRO + BOB VYLAN live at The Forum.
Scottish rockers who can headline arenas play an intimate show.
They have headlined many festivals, including Download.
They are promoting their ninth studio album "The Myth of the Happily Ever After " ,
which was released 22 October 2021....which entered the charts at number 4, the weekend before this show.
I have seen them a few times before, as support act and as a headliner.

BOB VYLAN arrived on stage at 7.30pm for their 30 mins set.
Their band name certainly caught my eye recently.
Bob Vylan – a London duo with a potent mix of punk and grime – have always shouted loud about the systemic injustices here in the UK. Their direct and raw sound has already seen them collaborate with Slaves and assert themselves in the punk community.
A very lively set, where the singer jumped into the crowd to sing a couple of times.
Lots of swearing and provocative lyrics including a track called "Kill The Queen".
BIFFY CLYRO arrived on stage at 8.30pm for their 1 hour 55 mins set.
Like Muse, Biffy are not your traditional sounding rock band.
They mix lush balladry giving way to rumbling grunge, prog-rock leanings, sweet harmonies and singalong choruses leading to crazed feral screams over a vicious heavy rock noise.
One by one the three main band members ended up shirtless as usual.
Lots of moshing and surfing down the front, and bodies ending up in the pit.
All the mega singles from their 2009 breakthrough LP "Only Revolutions" got an airing, leading to venue-wide singalongs of "Mountains", "Bubbles " and "Many of Horror "(famously covered by 2010 X Factor-winner Matt Cardle, under the more family-friendly title "When We Collide" which was a Christmas number one.)
A great show.
