Monday 08 November 2021. HOLLY HUMBERSTONE + DORA JAR live at Shepherds Bush Empire. Holly’s incredible ascent during a global pandemic to becoming one of Britain’s brightest 2021 stars shows no sign of slowing up. This show was sold out in advance. ------------------ One of those shows that had at least 100 folks on the guest list. DORA JAR arrived on stage at 8pm for her 30 mins set. A pretty average 30 mins of semi-acoustic folk pop from this Californian female singer. HOLLY HUMBERSTONE arrived on stage at 9pm and played for 60 mins. Holly has had millions of views on YouTube and listens on Spotify etc but amazingly has yet to release her debut album. Holly recently signed a record deal with Interscope and Polydor Records. Her first EP following the signings, The Walls Are Way Too Thin will be released on 12 November 2021. A short set, but sold out due to tickets costing less than £20 probably helped a bit. Holly played half the set solo with just her playing guitar or keyboards. "Falling Asleep At The Wheel" was the highlight , judging by the crowds reaction. A decent enough show.
