Inspired by Jimmy’s time spent in The Alps, Chalet Barragiste celebrates the very best in festive feasting. Transport yourself to the mountains in this restaurant that offers a seasonal menu of cosy winter favourites as well as new twists on traditional drinks, with something to cater to the tastes of all skaters. Open daily from 17 November 2021 – 16 January 2022 Monday – Friday 12.00 – 22.00 Saturday 09.45 – 22.00 Sunday 09.45 – 21.00 ------------- Just the two smallish rooms here , so limited space so probably best to book in advance. We are next to the winter skating rink, within part of this stunning 300 year old building. We shared most of the dishes , so as to have a taste of everything. Dishes we had included... French Onion Soup with croutons Truffled Mild Mushrooms on toast Pork Sausages Smoked Salmon Wild Venison Burger and wedge potatoes for me Mushroom Burger and wedge potatoes for my guest Truffle Fondue Plum Crumble with ice cream Chocolate Sponge They have an extensive drinks list so we had a variety of Moët champagne, Godfather Sour, Old Fashioned , Negronis and wines.
