Monday 20 December 2021.
Saturday 18 Dec - THE LIBERTINES play the second of their five shows at The Forum.
Sunday 19 Dec - THE LIBERTINES play the third of their five nights at The Forum.
The Libertines play five London shows as part of a UK tour...three in Dec and two in Feb 2022.
I have seen Pete on stage a few times including The Libertines at Hyde Park July 2014 ,where they
headlined to a massive 65,000 crowd.
I will be going to both these shows.
A nice touch is that there are two different support bands each night.
-----------------
Saturday 18 December 2021.
Tonight i watched the show from the seats in the front circle.
Both support acts tonight were female trios.
THE MOLOTOVS arrived on stage at 7.30pm for their 30 mins set.
The three girls are all dressed in black and white stage attire.
Some catchy indie-pop tracks and classic covers "Teenage Kicks" and "My Generation".
CRUEL HEARTS CLUB arrived on stage at 8.15pm for their 30 mins set.
They are comprised of sisters Gita and Edie Langley and drummer Gabi Woo.
A good set of pop-grunge tunes.
THE LIBERTINES arrived on stage at 9.15pm for their 1 hour 40 mins set.
As usual it is a very lively crowd to see The Libertines with lots of dancing in the stalls,
and pints of beer tossed into the air at regular intervals during the set.
Only The Libertines can be at the end of a month long tour and still sound a bit ramshackle.
Carl Barat looks cooler than Peter Doherty , who has put on some weight, and a nice beer belly.
Pete is going grey as well...his lifestyle over the past 20 years would make anyone grey.
They have lots of great songs , but four on the bounce during the encore were a mega highlight.

Sunday 19 December 2021.
Tonight i watched the show from the stalls standing area.
WILL & THE PEOPLE arrived on stage at 7.30pm for their 30 mins set.
I saw this band when they were the first act to headline Shepherds Bush Empire after lockdown
back in July.....it was a cheap admission test event.
They played tracks from their album that was recorded at The Libertines Albion Rooms Studio.
TRAMPOLENE arrived on stage at 8.15pm for their 30 mins set.
They played a good set of indie-rock tracks.
THE LIBERTINES arrived on stage at 9.15pm for their set of 1 hour 40 mins.
Great seeing Peter Doherty stumble towards Barat and they share a microphone for the chorus of many songs, it looks like everything you’ve come to expect, due to all of those accounts you’ve read which refer to some exhilarating-yet-troubled love affair between the two front-men.
We get one song less tonight as "I Get Along" is not played.
Their superb cover of The Pogues "Fairytale of New York" is moved back to the final song
of the evening, as all their road crew join them on stage in their Christmas jumpers.
At the end of the show the mic stand and guitar are thrown into the audience but the
venue security and The Libertines personal security are quick to get them back.
Another great show.
