Sunday 20 March 2022.

Sunday 20 March 2022. JACK WHITEHALL & FAMILY live at Hammersmith Apollo. Popular comedian , actor and presenter brings his Netflix show and book to the stage. Jack, 33, and dad Michael have been sharing their travel adventures with the hit Netflix show ‘Travels with my Father’ for the past five years. Jack and dad Michael have also been sharing their travel adventures in a book. Part memoir of family life, part travel guide, the Whitehalls’ words of wisdom might make you think again before making that big family booking....Jacks mother Hilary is also on stage tonight. Tonight is a near sell out, as Jack has sold out The 02 Arena in the past. The show was on for 1 hour 40 mins over two sets of 55 mins and 45 mins. The stage has a big screen showing some pre-recorded routines, along with some comfy chairs, and a lecturn. Jack starts with a good 20 mins of solo stand up , then his parents arrive on stage to big applause. Jack jokingly introduces them as London's version of " the Kardashians". He is certainly one of the more posh speaking comedians. It is quite heartwarming to see how well they all get on together. Have have a family gathering chat, and charge folks £40 to see it....simples... The dad is full of witty older gent sarcasm that the crowd love. Plenty of funny bits. so overall enjoyable. ---------------- Saturday 19 March 2022. Surprise news that WIN BUTLER has left Arcade Fire after 18 years. “Hi friends— I've left Arcade Fire,” Butler wrote in a series of tweets Saturday. “I left at the end of last year, after the new record was complete. There was no acute reason beyond that I've changed—and the band has changed—over the last almost 20 years. Time for new things.” I saw Arcade Fire live a few times, including Accor Hotels Arena in Paris - April 2018.
