Tuesday 14 June 2022.

On the day postponements and cancellations of gigs can be a right pain in the Arsenal. Seems to be catching at the moment as this week we had.... Monday 13 June - THE ROLLING STONES live at Amsterdam Stadium. The gig was pulled as 6pm on the day as Mick Jagger tested positive for Covid. Many Stones fans will have spent big money on travel and hotels, so you feel a bit sorry for them all. Monday 13 June - BUSH live at Shepherds Bush Empire. The gig was pulled at 1pm, with no reason given, even though the band played Download Festival. Tuesday 14 June - INTERPOL at The Roundhouse. The gig was pulled at 7pm , as band members had illness. No doubt many irate fans who would turn up at the venue unaware , due to the late announcement. If you have tickets for their Wednesday show, it will be a good idea to keep checking if it is still on. -------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------------- Monday 13 June 2022...I went to two events today... 3.15pm to 7.30pm GOFF'S LONDON SALE, Perks Field, Kensington Palace Gardens, London W8. A few years ago i did a radio interview with him, about the massive amount of gigs we have both seen. A man famous for attending record numbers of music performances around Bristol has been "very seriously" injured in a house fire. Jeff Johns, or 'Big Jeff' as he has affectionately become known, was caught in a fire at his own home in Totterdown. The 39-year-old was taken to a hospital in Swansea where he is in stable condition at a specialist burns unit. His family have asked for people to keep Jeff in their thoughts and prayers at "this very difficult time."
