Sunday 19 June 2022.

Saturday 18 June 2022. BECK live at The Forum. I have seen Beck live several times before, with the first two times in 1997, when i went to a recording of BBC tv show Later with Jools Holland ,and when he headlined Glastonbury Festival. Beck has released over a dozen albums since 1993. Beck plays two sold out London shows on his European Tour. Thurs 16 June Brixton Academy and Sat 18 June The Forum. --------------- JAWNY arrived on stage at 7.45pm for their 30 mins set. Jawny and his two band mates performed a decent set of songs. Jawny is an American singer, songwriter, and producer. He first received recognition after the release of his 2019 single "Honeypie", and was signed to Interscope Records in January 2020. He made his major-label debut with the mixtape For Abby in late October 2020. The venue is totally rammed sold out by the time Beck hits the stage. BECK and his band arrived on stage at 8.55pm for their 90 mins set. The band are all on a raised platform at the rear of the stage. The first half is excellent indie dance pop from Beck, and the second half is much more laid back. He’s barely graced the stage before ‘Devil’s Haircut’ is unleashed to a rapturous response. It’s disarming how easily he slips from slacker rock to full-on pop star. Over 30 songs played but many were shortened versions of two mins or less. Highlights included "Loser" and "Where's Its At ". Overall a great show. Full BECK setlist played tonight....
