66 mins of classic VAN HALEN from The 1984 Monsters of Rock Festival has appeared on YouTube.
I was at this show , that was the last in the UK with David Lee Roth as their singer.
At 45 mins , there starts a 9 minute Eddie Van Halen guitar solo.
It was the sixth time I had seen that classic line-up...

Excellent quality as its via BBC Newsnight
Also shows some footage from their Paris show then where J Geils Band were the support act.
I saw that tour when it was at Wembley Stadium.

Monday 21 August 2023.
TV GIRL live at Hammersmith Apollo.
TV Girl is an American indie pop band from San Diego, California, USA.
They are touring Europe to promote their recent studio album 'Grapes Upon The Vine'.
This show sold out two months in advance, and was upgraded to a bigger venue from The Forum.
They play Reading and Leeds Festivals a few days after this show.
TV Girl played two sold out shows at Shepherds Bush Empire in Nov 2022...I was not there.
-------
Like the Devo here show a couple of days ago, the venue is totally rammed sold out.
The crowd was pretty much all under the age of 30, with maybe 90% female.
Great to see so many of them buying the vinyl version of the new TV Girl album from the merch stand.
Several 'guardian ' dads are proudly wearing their band t-shirts including Iron Maiden,
AC/DC , Guns N Roses, Dead Kennedy's , Def Leppard and INXS as if to make a statement
" we are only here because of our children".
Indeed when i popped to the loo during the headliners, there were around 20 adults sitting
around in the circle bar on their phones and chatting waiting for the show to end, rather than actually watch it.
The circle bar is a lot quieter than the Devo show here a couple of days ago.
Support act COLLEEN GREEN arrived on stage at 8.10pm for her 35 mins.
Colleen Green (aged 38 ) is an American indie pop musician from Los Angeles, California.
Just her and her electric guitar and the drum machine.
She played some simple catchy indie-pop tunes from her albums.
TV GIRL arrived on stage at 9pm and played for 80 mins.
A pretty basic stage production, with just the four of them on stage and the bands logo.
Even the singer admitted "what do you think of our 130 dollar stage production?".
The band play dreamy, hypnotic simple indie pop tunes that the crowd sing loudly along to.
Indeed the female crowd seem to scream at anything that the singer said.
Lots of keyboard based songs, along with some samples.
The singer said "it was great to play this historic venue where the likes of Queen, Kate Bush,
Public Enemy and.......Peppa Pig" have performed.
An enjoyable show that ticked along nicely.
