A stunningly designed huge contemporary space of over 2300 sq ft, which is spread out over two levels and different areas. Must be over 200 guests here tonight. There is a four piece semi-acoustic band playing some cover versions and we have a DJ too. The event was due to finish at 9pm but it's an Italian time vibe so it actually finished at 11pm. Lots of complimentary drinks and food including Negronis, Gin & Tonics , Prosecco, Lambrusco ( Italian Sparkling Red Wine), Wines, Beers, Italian bowl food including lasagne and pasta dishes and desserts. I went to three events tonight. 5.15pm to 6.30pm THE ART OF MOTORING - private view - Iconic Images Gallery , 16 Waterloo Place, St James's, London SW1. Around 100 guests here, most are older males. Lots of great photos and paintings of racing cars. They are on display all this week...free entry. Complimentary Piper Heidsieck champers and canapes for all guests here. then 7pm to 9.30pm SOCIAL 4M - Kettners, Champagne Bar, 29 Romily Street , London W1. First time back at Kettners for a few years. Social 4M (Meet Merge Motivate Maximise) are hosting a talk to around 50 music biz folks regards streaming and publishing and percentages etc. Very interesting. Lots of complimentary drinks and food including three different cocktails, wines, beers , different bowl foods, cheese and ham toasties and canapes. then 10pm to 12pm THE TIME TRAVELLERS WIFE - press night party - Sophie's, 42 - 44 Great Windmill Street , London W1. The show was held earlier at the nearby Apollo Theatre in Shaftesbury Avenue. The reviews have not been great. This is the two star review from The Standard. It’s frankly astonishing that the combined talents of former Eurythmic Dave Stewart, soul artist Joss Stone, and America's "most produced living playwright" Lauren Gunderson should come up with a musical as bland as this. The grand romance of Audrey Niffenegger’s 2003 bestseller, which asked smart questions about how you’d cope if your partner was repeatedly, involuntarily transported through time, is here played for gloopy sentiment and goofy laughs. The party was a massive event with some 300 guests. Dave Stewart and Joss Stone are here. Lots of complimentary drinks and food including spirits with mixers, prosecco, wines, beers , different bowl foods , cheeseburgers and canapes.
